Directing the Central Charger Volleyball Camps will be Head Coach Lyndsay Baker. Coach Baker is in her 19th year of coaching at Central High School and will be starting her 5th year as the Head Coach of the Chargers. Assisting with camps will be volleyball coaches from Central High School, Hillwood Middle School, Parkwood Hill, and former Charger Volleyball players. ChargerVB Camp is open to any and all incoming 2nd-9th graders
This is a rigorous, high-intensity camp for incoming 9th - 12th graders. The purpose of this camp is to prepare players for the upcoming 2021 volleyball season, giving them an opportunity to play in their own gym with the teammates they will have for the duration of the season. It consists of fundamental fine tuning, offensive/defensive systems, serving strategies, advanced hitting and blocking, teamwork/mental toughness drills, and lots of competition.
Camp instructor is Julie Price who has been leading team camps for the past nineteen years. Coach Price is the head volleyball coach for Coppell High School, where her team won back-to-back 5A State Championships in 2011 and 2012. Her 2012 team finished the season ranked #1 in the nation by MaxPreps Freeman Ratings. After the 2011 season, she was named the ESPN National High School Volleyball Coach of the Year, TGCA 4A/5A Volleyball Coach of the Year, and Lone Star Volleyball Coach of the Year. She was previously the head volleyball coach at Lake Travis, where the Lady Cavaliers won the 4A State Championship in 2010.

Knee pads are optional but recommended. To help us adhere to KISD’s COVID procedures, no spectators will be allowed to stay and watch.
